Workflow

Set up a project workflow

As a Project admin, you can create a workflow to distribute accurate annotation instructions and help the team save time.

Go to Workflow, and select Click to create workflow.

Choose a class and the tool you want the annotators to use from the drop-down menu by selecting the right single angle icon. You can choose one or multiple attributes (optional). Click on + to add more classes.

Select Automatic class change to automate the annotation process. The editor will tell the users which object they need to annotate.

Press and drag the reorder button to change the order of the workflow.

When you’re done, check the Apply the workflow box. If you don’t do so, the workflow won’t operate.

Project workflow stages

To complete an annotation project, you need to run it through several steps and users. SuperAnnotate makes project management smoother than ever with a fully automated process.

Stage 1: The Annotator sends the annotation to the QA for a quality check.

Stage 2: The QA can either set the image as Complete and send it to the Admin or return it to the Annotator if the annotation does not meet the requirements. The QA can send an image back to the Annotator as many times as necessary until they are satisfied with the results.

Stage 3: The Admin can approve an image or disapprove it and send it back to the Annotator. Again, the Admin can send an image back to the Annotator as many times as necessary until they are satisfied with the results.

Stage 4: When the project is done, the Admin can download the complete annotation data.
